Join the Egale Listserv!

To subscribe to our listserv, egale-e:
Send an email message to majordomo@lists.egale.ca. The body of your message should consist of the following one line (do not add any other comments or questions):

sub egale-e

The subject line can contain anything or be left blank. You will receive several messages, one telling you that the command did not succeed. This just means that you still have to confirm that you want to join by following the instructions in the other message. The easiest way is to reply to it with one word: accept. You will receive your password and the list policy (please read it).

You can change your password to something more memorable and add aliases for your other email accounts by managing your subscription at the address given in the welcome message.

Remember to set your email program to send “plain text” (not html, formatted, or rich text). When sending messages to the list in general (after you’ve subscribed) avoid the use of the word subscribe or unsubscribe in the first 10 lines of your message.
