Letter to Ms. Boyd: Same-Sex Relationship Recognition Legislation

May 20, 1994

The Hon. Marion Boyd Attorney General

Re: Same-Sex Relationship Recognition Legislation

Fax: (519) 433-3248

Dear Ms. Boyd:

On behalf of EGALE, I wish to express our appreciation for your actions in introducing the Bill to eliminate discrimination against same-sex relationships yesterday. This is an important human rights issue, with significant impact for a large number of Ontarians.

EGALE is an organization committed to advancing equality for lesbians, gays and bisexuals across Canada. As this debate progresses, we will be distributing information packages on issues relating to the legislation. Please let us know if there is any other way in which we can assist.

We would appreciate receiving a copy of the Bill at your earliest convenience. Thank you again for your initiative and support in this matter.

Yours very truly,

John Fisher, President
